Abstract

Chagas’ disease is one of the most frequent etiology of heart failure in patients submitted to heart transplant in Latin America. Incidence of Chagas cardiomiopathy is also increasing in developed countries. Reactivation of Chagas' disease may occur after transplantation, leading to higher morbidity and graft dysfunction. There is lack of data in incidence of reactivation in the last decade. The aim of this study is to evaluate the incidence of Chagas' disease reactivation on new immunosuppression era.
