Abstract

Primary carcinoma of the gastrointestinal tract rarelypresents with osseous metastases. The lumbar and thoracicspines are the most commonly reported sites ofmetastases. Cervical metastasis is rarely reported, but,when it occurs, is a late manifestation of the disease. Wepresent a patient with an unusual case of colorectal cancerand cervical spine metastasis, who presented initiallywith neck pain. A vigilant approach to treatment is warrantedto reduce the risk of neurological sequelae and toimprove quality of life.
