Abstract
Examination of the fresh bulbs of Fritillaria persica resulted in the isolation of five cerveratrum alkaloids. Their structures were established by spectral analysis and hydrolysis. Four of the alkaloids showed potent inhibitory activity on cyclic AMP phosphodiesterase.
