Abstract
Our entire educational system is directed at forming the new man. Study of literature in the school plays an immense role in education, and study of literary works on is particularly important in resolving problems of instructing and educating our young people. A comparison of the works on that are part of the school program with other publications and memoirs on the leader can play a specific role in the course of a deep study of these works. The inclusion of such comparisons in studies devoted to the language and style of a particular work can proceed in several directions — for example, the repercussions of the event described, the use of a specific verbal and literary image, and the like. Of course, the selections in the school program — Gor'ky's essay V. I. and Maya-kovsky's poem Vladimir Il'ich Lenin — remain the basic material for analysis.
