Abstract

Until the beginning of the 1960s, there was essentially no study of the New Economic Policy [NEP] as a particular form or stage in the economic policy of the proletarian dictatorship under the conditions of the period of transition from capitalism to socialism. This greatly complicated the drawing of conclusions from the experience of the Soviet people in creating the economic foundation of socialism.
