Abstract
FDA has granted accelerated approval to ceritinib (Zykadia— GlaxoSmithKline), a new oral therapy targeting anaplastic lymphoma kinase–positive (ALK+) metastatic non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in patients who have progressed on or are intolerant to crizotinib (Xalkori—Pfizer), the only other approved ALK inhibitor.
