Abstract

Background: Central nervous system (CNS) manifestations of chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) are rarely seen and only few cases have been reported. The described manifestations include ischemic stroke or intracerebral haemorrhages, seizures, encephalopathy, myelopathy, optic neuritis or other focal neurological deficits as a result of cerebral vasculitis, demyelination or diffuse infiltration of inflammatory cells.
