Abstract

The relative contributions of cerebral and hepatic glucoreceptors in the regulation of food intake is estimated on the basis of the distribution of the labelled glucose antimetabolite — 3H-2DG — in selected glucosensitive tissues under conditions in which the non-radioactive 2DG was previously shown to be a highly effective stimulus for the initiation of food intake.
