Abstract
• Cerebellar activation was highest for rapid, semantically-plausible sentences. • Activation correlated with sub-lexical, word, and passage-level fluency performance. • Semantic context modulated the cerebellar response to sentence presentation rates. • Cerebellar activation was associated with reading fluency skills rather than age.
