Abstract

This Medical Centre, having a present capacity for 327 beds, is designed for a future enlargement that would and 200 extra beds. Its area is arranged in several buildings each for a different use: outcare patients, diagnosis and treatment and mechanical installation. The patient room area consists on five wings with 22 beds each flowing radially into a central core housing common services, permitting ease of traffic and avoiding long corridors and unnecessary traffic. The entire complex covers a total of more than 21,000 m 2 built-up area.
