Abstract

Possibilities are considered of using a test centrifugal filter for catching dust within which there is normally separation of heterogeneous gas stream phases. The capture efficiency and hydraulic resistance of the test centrifugal filter are determined by means of computer simulation. Results are provided for comparative industrial tests of a two-level centrifugal filter and cyclone. An industrial example is demonstrated for a two-level six-channel centrifugal filter with a cleaned gas productivity up to 8000 m3/h.
