Abstract

AbstractThe authors of the chapter have gathered the latest theoretical knowledge on social crises in the Slovak Republic. They define legal framework, describe the meaning, mission, organizational structure and principles of activity of the Centre of Focused Social Security as an instrument of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic for fast, simple and especially effective solution of social crises caused by mass unlawful dismissal of employees from companies which went bankrupt as well as caused by natural disasters, accidents of technical or technological systems or traffic accidents with multiple casualties and seriously injured civilians.
