Abstract

For a city the size of Houston, Tex., the central surveillance of its water system is necessarily becoming dependent upon computer technology. Through a combination of computer technology and the human element, the Houston Water Div. has initiated a surveillance program that could prove to be fail‐safe, economical, and dependable.
