Abstract
Cells can trigger self-defence mechanisms in response to acute perturbations from outside. To investigate the complicated mechanisms of cellular response to continuous Ion Radiation (IR) at the single-cell level, a model of the Double Strand Breaks (DSBs) generation and repair process is proposed. The model can be successfully used to simulate the investigation of the stochastic traces of DSBs generation, as well as the different kinetics of the complicated interactions among resulting DSBs, DSB-protein Complexes (DSBCs), Repair Protein (RP), and misrepair of DSBs (Fw) under different radiation dose domains.
