Abstract

There are scores of printed volumes, including lavishly illustrated pathology textbooks, to support the teaching of cell pathology. The World Wide Web (WWW) has revolutionized the publication of text and graphics; and some types of information, such as protein and nucleotide sequence databases, can only really be made available via the Internet. Here, I highlight some of the myriad Web-based resources on various aspects of cell pathology and inflammation, including cell histology and pathology (Box 1), teaching resources (Box 2), lists of resources (Box 3) and information for patients and carers (Box 4).
