Abstract

The long term goals of our work are to define the chemical and metabolic functions required for cell-mediated lysis, to identify the molecules that participate in the lytic process, and ultimately, to characterize how the molecules mediate the required functions. We have used both murine cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) and human natural killer (NK) cells as model systems. The data to be summarized here were obtained principally with the murine CTL system.
