Abstract
We present a new neuropsychological tool dedicated for diagnosis of face recognition and proper name production deficits. Our purpose is triple: 1) providing a tool that calculates independent scores of face recognition and proper name production ; 2) elaborating a task that takes into account participants’ cultural knowledge ; 3) providing a computerized test easy to use and that encodes response times. We present the procedure and the normative data collected on 240 participants. Moreover, we demonstrate that the tool can be used in several French-speaking countries (Belgium, France, Switzerland) and that it is sensitive in clinical diagnosis of brain-damaged patients.
