Abstract

In the modern era, people are considering that whether the curriculum of universities are focused on the necessary skills for real life or not. Thus, some traditional methods and curriculum contents in the curriculum of universities should be changed and developed permanently. Because of this, educators are beginning to implement outcome-based education after analyzing its basic principles, implementation opportunities and difficulties. Recently, the experience and experimentation of the outcome-based education and its standard and methodologies have been introduced into the curriculum for undergraduate engineering and technology programs. The insufficient number of research conducted on how the standard and methods have been correlating to the curriculum of humanities has been taken into consideration. In the present article some concepts of the Common European Framework and the CDIO standard and methodologies have been compared as well as the analysis on the relevant curriculum has been made.
