Abstract

The purpose of this article is to estimate the factors influencing on electronic payment decisions of customers at AnGiang convenience stores. Through primary data collected from 258 customers buying goods at convenience stores in AnGiang province in the period from June to September 2020. The article uses Probit regression method to Estimating the influence of factors on customers’ e-payment decisions. The results show that the model have high statistically significant. At the same time, there are two factors which having negative coefficients at the 5% significance level include education and customer age; and three factors which having positive coefficients at the 1%, 5%, and 10% significance levels, respectively include client residence, income, and occupation. Based on the findings, the article proposes some solutions to aid in the development of non-cash payments at AnGiang convenience stores.
