Abstract

Administration of cannabidiol (CBD) over three consecutive days reduced cue‐induced drug craving and anxiety in drug‐abstinent adults with heroin use disorder, a placebo‐controlled study involving 42 participants has found. The effects of CBD remained significant one week after the final administration of the cannabinoid, the researchers reported.
