Abstract
The cover image illustrates the causes of corner crack in hypoperitectic microalloyed steel billets. The hot ductility, solidification shrinkage, alloy composition, microstructure and segregation behavior of steel are analyzed in detail. In this study, article number 2100035, Yanping Bao and co-workers present a new mechanism for generating corner cracks in a billet.
