Abstract

Introduction Practical difficulties in causality assessment for possible adverse drug reactions (ADRs) are a major source of uncertainty in clinical development, leading to different interpretations and handling procedures of ADRs across regions, in spite of the recent harmonized definition of ADRs. This study focused on how clinical investigators assess causality for adverse events (AEs) observed in clinical trials.
