Abstract

The crystal structures of dehydrated Mg 1.2Ag 3Na 6.6-A, Ca 1.2Ag 3Na 6.6-A,Ba 1.2Ag 3Na 6.6-A, Zn 1.2Ag 3Na 6.6-A and Ag 3Na 9-A zeolites were determined at 293 and 653 K with X-ray power methods. At 653 K, the eight-ring windows were not fully occupied which is probably the case at 293 K. For the six-ring sites as well as for the eight-ring sites, a mixed occupancy with Ag, Na and divalent cations is probable. The formation of charged clusters is unequivocally observed only for d-AgNa-A.
