Abstract
Hong Kong-based iron and chrome oxide pigments producer Cathay Industries Group is joining forces with chemical manufacturer Tonghua Group to build a new, state-of-the-art production plant for yellow, red and black iron oxide pigments in Tongling, in China's Anhui Province. The joint venture facility will have a stage-one capacity of 100 000 tonnes/year. Expansion to 150 000 tonnes per year is expected in stage two of the planned development.
