Categorias: questões acerca do esquema aristotélico frente a discussões modernas e contemporâneas

<div class="page" title="Page 1"><div class="layoutArea"><div class="column"><p><span>O presente trabalho ocupa-se da questão das categorias em Aristóteles como os gêneros supremos em que se classificam as coisas. Há uma conexão entre este esquema de categorias e certas formas da linguagem. A discussão se desenvolve em torno da categoria de Substância na medida em que tem prioridade sobre todas as outras categorias. As noções de universal e individual, cruzadas às noções de substância e acidente, fornecem o panorama de uma realidade sob o ponto de vista da organização de seus elementos dentre os gêneros supremos. There is a connection between this scheme of categories and forms of language. The discussion is developed considering that the category of substance has priority over all other categories. The notions of universal and individual, linked to the concepts of substance and accident, provide a picture of reality from the point of view of organization of its elements among the supreme genera.
