Abstract

Bioprosthetic valve fracture (BVF) during valve-in-valve transcatheter aortic valve implantation (VIV-TAVI) has been shown to be a safe technique in small surgical bioprosthetic valves. Although reported complications are rare, this case depicts one of the catastrophic complications following BVF.
