Abstract
The Eu-HPMo/MS catalyst was synthesized by loading the rare earth metal Eu and HPMo on mesoporous silica material, which was hydrothermally synthesized. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, FT-IR and BET. The experiments were carried out in a batch reactor using n-decane with dibenzothiophene as the model diesel compound. More than 99 % of the total sulfur removal was observed during the experiments at the conditions that the temperature is 323 K, the n(H2O2)/n(S) = 3 and the catalyst dosage is 0.1 g.
