Abstract

Characteristics of Brdička currents observed with bovine serum albumin (BSA) at the stationary mercury drop electrode have been studied in some detail, with special reference to their dependence on the rate of supply of Co ions on the electrode surface covered with adsorbed layer of BSA. The mechanism of the Brdička current is discussed and its application to the microdetermination of sulfhydryl- and/or disulfide-containing protein is described.
