Abstract
The catalytic activity in olefin metathesis is described for the systems formed in the reactions between WCl 6, WOCl 4, WBr 5 and MoOCl 4 and the hydroxyl groups of the inorganic gels alumina, silica and silica-alumina, and after activation by tetra-alkyl tin or lead.
