Abstract
AbstractAn efficient and environmentally friendly method for the synthesis of α‐amino phosphonates has been reported using the one‐pot, three‐component reaction of various substituted anilines and benzaldehydes with diethyl phosphite in acetonitrile at 100 °C. The advantages of this method are catalyst‐free and works well with a broad substrate scope of various aromatic anilines and aldehydes containing both electron‐donating and withdrawing groups.
