Abstract

The paper is devoted to the development of vacuum casting technology, which ensures the formation of a casting with a uniform fine-grained metal structure. This effect is achieved by the slow filling of the cooled cavity of the mold with a cooling liquid due to the difference in the flow rate of the liquid at the inlet and outlet. At each moment of time, the cooling of metal is carried out in a thin layer of the casting, which ensures the uniformity and fine-grained structure of the casting material, the absence of shrinkage and internal stresses.
