Abstract

Cancer cells release cell-free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicles (EVs) into the bloodstream, allowing disease non-invasive monitoring. In this issue of Cancer Cell, Casanova-Salas etal. analyze cfDNA, EV-DNA, and EV-RNA in prostate cancer longitudinal cohorts treated with androgen receptor signaling inhibitors and taxanes, identifying signals reflecting tumor adaptation processes.
