<h2>Summary</h2> The complete veneer crown is a useful restoration where it is indicated. While it has many advantages, it is not without disadvantages. Some of these disadvantages seem to be eliminated by the use of a cast shell veneer. A cast shell veneer crown can be easily constructed by making the refined wax pattern on a cold-curing acrylic resin coping which, in turn, has been constructed on a specially prepared die.
