Abstract
We analyse the Casimir effect for parallel plates at finite temperaturein the presence of compactified universal extra dimensions andanalytically show the thermal corrections to the effect in detail. TheCasimir effect for different sizes of universal extra dimensions isinvestigated to test the five-dimensional Kaluza–Klein theory.
