Abstract

Control-group/statistical-analysis studies are typically employed to evaluate casework methods. Unfortunately, the organization of this type of research often presents the practitioner with more questions than answers. An individual-control/applied-analysis strategy, with single-subject designs, is proposed as a viable alternative. A casework self-evaluation model is developed, in which individual practitioners can reliably estimate the effectiveness of their intervention procedures.
