Abstract
In autogenous dermis-fat grafts, the graft is taken from the buttock and transplanted into the muscle cone of the orbit. It proved to be a valid surgical approach in case of an extruded primary orbital implant, inserted at the time of enucleation as well as in case of a contracted orbital Socket with a volume deficit. The authors present a series of eight patients who have undergone dermis-fat grafting for contracted orbital Sockets during the past two years.
