Abstract
Due to the legalization of cannabis in the United States, use has increased in the general population, including pregnant and postpartum women. Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome (CHS) is a condition that affects individuals who use cannabis habitually. The hallmark presentation of this syndrome is intractable nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and compulsive-showering behavior. Cases of CHS due to chronic cannabis intoxication are found in the literature, but the documentation of this illness among pregnant and postpartum women is scarce.
