Abstract

Surgical repair of traumatic extensor tendon lacerations in the leg are not commonly encountered and can present with a wide variety of functional deficits. Investigation of current literature did not yield prior documentation of this type of injury or surgical repair. The purpose of this poster is to present the surgical repair and rehabilitation of Extensor Digitorum Longus (EDL) tendons using a novel application of the Modified Duran Protocol in a young healthy adult female.
