Abstract
Part II set the foundations for the three facets of OIP lifecycle management, namely OIIs, OIPs and a model for OIP lifecycle management. The present Part III introduces the empirical data of this work that serve to analyze the three facets. As elaborated in the research design, case study research is chosen as an explorative research approach in order to better understand the lifecycle of OIPs and its management. To outline the research approach, firstly, the research method, namely the case study design, is described (chapter 1).
