Abstract
AbstractThis chapter includes two case studies depicting the efficacy of Lymphocyte Immunization Therapy (LIT). In the first case, the couple with 15 unexplained miscarriages underwent LIT and subsequently had a successful pregnancy. In the second case, LIT was beneficial for a couple with recurrent IVF failures. The case studies have discussed diagnostic assessment, LIT procedure and follow up. There is also a detailed discussion about various aspects of LIT. These case studies show that LIT can be beneficial in couples with “unexplained” repeated miscarriages or recurrent IVF failures as these can be due to allo-immune rejection of pregnancy.KeywordsRepeated miscarriagesRecurrent IVF failuresImmunotherapyAllo-immunityLymphocyte immunization therapyLITUnexplained miscarriagesUnexplained IVF failuresRecurrent implantation failure
