Abstract
In order to show more clearly the universality of prehistoric settlement clustering pattern and the importance of settlement clustering pattern for the study and restoration of history, this chapter will be devoted to several case studies of the clustering pattern of important settlements in the prehistoric period and the late Shang Dynasty, including the cave sites in the south, the Liangzhu site group, and the Linfen Basin in Shanxi and the Yin ruins in Anyang.
