Abstract
In this case series, we report the four cases of hypercalcemia with uncommon etiologies and presentations. The most common causes of hypercalcemia include primary hyperparathyroidism and malignancies. The evaluation, diagnostic approach, and treatment of hypercalcemia in these cases are discussed. The details regarding the current medications of the patient, parathyroid hormone levels, evaluation for any hematological malignancies or solid tumors, granulomatous disorders, and Vitamin D levels are important in determining the underlying etiology. Patients with hypercalcemia are treated with adequate hydration, steroids, bisphosphonates, and calcitonin depending on the severity and the underlying etiology.
