Abstract
We are presenting a case of surgical resection of a solid pseudopapillary neoplasm (SPN) of the pancreas with multiple hepatic metastatic neoplasms. SPN is a rare neoplasm with low-grade malignancy usually characterized by a tick-encapsulated mass primarily found in the body and tail of the pancreas. However, in our case, the tumor was located in the head of the pancreas with an invasion of the superior mesenteric vein/portal vein (SMV/PV), along with the presence of multiple hepatic metastases with enlarged retroperitoneal lymph nodes were also observed through radiological examination.
