Abstract
A female basic trainee, complaining of vague upper leg pain during her third week of basic training, was suspected of developing a femoral neck or femoral shaft stress fracture. After conservative treatment, to include crutches, she had a minor fall and sustained a spiral oblique fracture of the femur. J Orthop Sports Phys Ther 1986;8(6):320-321.
