Abstract

Granulomatous interstitial nephritis (GIN) is a rare diagnosis on kidney biopsy. It is generally diagnosed on kidney biopsy in patients with renal dysfunction with no significant proteinuria. The etiology of GIN is multifactorial. A high index of suspicion for tuberculosis should be kept in all patients with GIN.
