Abstract

AbstractCorrosion investigation and reliability analysis of a family heat supply system has been carried out. Results indicate that the smoke emission steel pipe mainly suffers the corrosion at high temperature, and the corrosion components in the heat supply system undergo the atmospheric corrosion attack in indoor environment. Besides, safety and reliability related corrosion factors include water temperature, water oxygen concentration, pH value, carbon dioxide content, and chloride and sulfate ion in water have been discussed. It is concluded that the make‐up water quality is crucial to the safety and reliability of the heat supply system.
