Abstract
This article advances the concept of case-based structured conflict as one means for enhancing learning in the undergraduate classroom. First, the central roles of using the case method, problem-centered learning, and structured conflict are addressed. Discussion then turns to case selection and the construction of a course outline. Finally, ideas and suggestions for managing the structured conflict process are developed.
