Abstract

As the demand for social services is expanding due to the increase in the socially vulnerable class, LH Corporation has been promoting pilot projects that provide integrated social services based on public rental housing, which will be expanded nationwide in the future. Therefore, in this study, the characteristics of LH Corporation’s pilot projects for social service integration support based on public rental housing are comprehensively analyzed. In this study, 36 pilot projects conducted from 2019 to 2020 were selected and the cases were analyzed. As a result, the pilot projects had many services for the general public, and at the same time, many cases of linking social welfare services for specific groups such as elderly care were observed. In the pilot projects, there were many cases in which service spaces were newly built using vacant land in public rental housing, and in many cases, living SOC complex projects or community integrated care projects were connected to create the service spaces. The results of this study can be used as basic data for planning various business models that integrate consumer-centered social services by using spatial resources of public rental housing.
