Abstract

A 55-year-old-man with a history of neurofibromatosis and chronic necrotizing pancreatitis presented with abdominal pain and recurrent painful skin lesions. Three months before presentation, polyarticular joint swelling had developed and a central fluctuant nodule on an erythematous base had been noted on the left lower leg. A diagnostic test was performed.
