Abstract

This paper develops a novel cascade constrained DMC-PID strategy for control of the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) denitrification system in coal-fired power plant. To deal with the strict input output constraints of the SCR denitrification system while guaranteeing the feasibility of the predictive controller, slack variable is introduced in the controller design to soften the constraints. Simulation results demonstrate the advantages and effectiveness of the proposed approach.
